The divisive 76-year-old figure that the former president of the United States was and still is, is gearing up for his next run to become the president of the United States of America after a “rigged election”. He has been in hot water ever since his estate, “Mar-a-Lago,” in Florida, was raided by the FBI on August 8, 2022. The FBI’s investigation was to see if Trump had violated sections of the Espionage Act, the unlawful removal of public records, and obstruction of justice by interfering with an investigation. The FBI later claimed to have found many boxes of classified documents inside his estate. Trump, to no one’s surprise, denied these accusations, claiming they were “fake news”. This led some of his supporters to believe the documents were planted there by the American government. One supporter said, “The government today has gotten way too big, way too powerful” (Kozin, 2022)
The Stormy Daniels situation recently came to light when Donald Trump made an appearance in court in New York. The court case was to find out if Donald Trump had broken the law by sending a then-pornstar a large sum of money that was a “hush payment” from one of his business’s bank accounts. After the hearing, Donald Trump’s supporters raised a whopping $12 million for him. A conviction would not legally prohibit Donald Trump from running for president. Trump also stated he would still assume office if he won, regardless of the outcome.
Many stories are unfolding regarding the former president of the United States of America, and on June 13, 2023, he will appear in another courtroom, this time in Florida, as they try to figure out why the former president had many boxes of classified documents in his estate. Recent photos released by the FBI show piles and piles of boxes cluttering some of the rooms in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, shown in figures one and two.

Trump, who has already announced that he is running to be the next president of the United States of America, said in a recent interview with CNN, “Our country is dying. Our country is being destroyed by stupid people, by very stupid people.”. This was a dig at current President Joe Biden and his administration, whom Trump does not like or agree with, as he and some of his supporters believe he (Donald Trump) is still the president after the “rigged” election.
The coming weeks and months will be a huge test for Trump’s legal team as they try to make sure their client is not sent to prison for numerous convictions.
