Monday 18th March

Dozens of people have been detained in the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City after the Israeli military said it had taken control of the hospital and its accompanying buildings. The Israeli military has also claimed that it has killed 20 “terrorists” in the event. (BBC News)

Wednesday 20th March

Kharkiv came under attack by a Russian missile, which killed at least five people and injured eight, with five others missing. (Reuters)

Indonesian officials have confirmed that Prabowo Subianto is the new president of the country, winning 59% of the vote. (Al Jazeera)

Thursday 21st March

Kyiv was attacked by a large missile attack in the early hours of Thursday. It is claimed that 31 missiles were launched, and all were shot down. A statement from the Air Force suggests some of the missiles could have been of North Korean origin. (CCN)

Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong has resigned amid heavy corruption in the country. He is the shortest-serving president in the country’s history. (Reuters)

Friday 22nd March

The Kremlin says that 40 people have died and more than 100 have been wounded in an attack at a concert hall in Moscow. The Russian authorities are investigating this as terrorism after several gunmen burst into the building and fired their automatic rifles. (AP)
